Kate graduated cum laude from New York University in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Politics and a minor in Spanish. Kate earned her Juris Doctorate degree in 2010, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law. During law school, Kate was a Dean's Scholar; served as Associate Editor on the Intellectual Property Law Journal; participated on the National Mock Trial Competition Team; was a Law Achievement Scholar in Civil Procedure; and received the Highest Grade Award in Legal Writing in 2007.
Prior to joining MSSSV, Kate served as a law clerk at a number of prestigious firms; completed a judicial internship with Judge Alexander Wright, Jr. of the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland; and interned at the Kings County District Attorney's Office.
